Whilst watering my urban (NYC) garden today, I noticed my Foeniculum Vulgare (Fennel) raising its arms (as seen in the images featured with this text), and I surmised that he was either doing a yoga stretch or trying to remind me that he has a very important role in my “garden awareness” project which I’ve recently launched on indiegogo @ http://bit.ly/KGeJ96

Part of the Virtual Stories that I plan to create in this endeavor is to show the value in growing herbs. My Foeniculum Vulgare has a wonderful scent which adds such pleasure to my garden, and fennel is something Ophelia referred to in Shakespeare’s “Hamlet,” as discussed on TLLG’s tumblr Pages @ http://bit.ly/MmDA8s
