The visiting finches in my urban (NYC) garden have been entertaining me with their antics, but I’ve just found out their ulterior motive! It seems that they have heard about my indiegogo Campaign where my mission is to give voice to what grows in a garden, and they also know from their tweets to each other, that topics I’m including are: 

  •        Herbs (growing, drying, using for cooking)

  •        Peony and echinacea pods in cut flower arrangements
  •        Name tags and the importance of Latin botanical names 
  •        The beauty of branches
  •        Urban garden lighting
  •        Training vines
  •        Urban hedges
  •        Mushrooms
  •        Ladybugs
  •        Watering
  •        Winterizing

It is now the finches’ opinion that I should include them in the Virtual Stories (mini movies) that I hope to produce for my endeavor, and today they came up with a variety of potential story-lines involving them!
