The 80+ things (varieties of flowers, grasses, herbs, plants, shrubs, succulents, trees and vines), which I grow in my urban (NYC) terrace garden, are all proclaiming, “the Helichrysum bracteatums are in bloom again!”

They all love the theatre, so I am not surprised to hear them mimicking Katharine Hepburn’s speech from “Stage Door,” when she spoke her famous lines, “The calla lilies are in bloom again.”

And why shouldn’t they be reminded of this quote? My Helichrysum bracteatums are quite the performers, as evidenced by the sub-titles they each chose for their image, as well as in their performance in my Virtual Story (mini movie), “A Week in the Lives of my Helichrysum bracteatum (Strawflowers),” which can be viewed in my Vimeo Library @ https://vimeo.com/44307610.

Garden themed Virtual Stories are a big part of my indiegogo Campaign — a campaign that is designed to give voice to the garden. Everything I grow is aware of my endeavor, and all are far from being camera shy; hence they are eager to participate in my effort which may be seen @ http://igg.me/p/104628?a=599476
